VOTEP (Vocational Training and Empowerment Program)
VOTEP (Vocational Training and Empowerment Program) is our CSR Empowerment Program for
Senior Secondary School students.
VOTEP is a free 3 day intensive training in ICT fundamentals and Photography for Senior Secondary School students in public schools in Yaba. It is a program deliberately designed to give back to the Yaba community which is the education hub of Lagos, where Dr. Ekua Abudu Akinsanya grew up, and which houses both the academy as well as Custodian, our sponsors.
The students will get sound training in ICT and Photography as well as sessions on essential skills in Leadership, Time management, Emotional intelligence and Personal hygiene.
The first cohort is 20 students so that we can give quality attention. The program will run a few times
a year and it is our hope that other notable Companies will come on board to support us as we go
along either through sponsorship or even the provision of promotional items for the students so that
we can reach more children.
