Ekua Titilola Abudu is the founder of The Vocational and Professional Development Academy (VPDA). She is a lawyer, Chartered administrator and a seasoned Educationist with a proven track record. She is the proprietress of Greenwood House School, a private nursery and primary school set up in Ikoyi 22 years ago and which is now a household name in Lagos. A woman of many parts she is a Trustee and Past President of the Association of International School Educators of Nigeria (AISEN); Trustee and Past President of the International Women’s Society(IWS), Chairman of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria(IDAN), Country Coordinator of the Olave Baden Powell Society(OBPS) which founded the Boys scouts and funds Girl guides worldwide. She was recently awarded a degree of Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Management by the State University of New York. Ekua is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and Musical Society of Nigeria.
Olawunmi Gassper: Engineer Gasper is an esteemed expert in the field of Vocational education and a seasoned Adminstrator. He is an Alumnus of Cranfield University (UK), National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Manchester Business School and the Lagos Business School. He is a two-term past Rector of the Lagos state Polytechnic, Former Chairman, Council of Heads of Polytechnics in Nigeria and past Vice-Chairman, Commonwealth association of Polytechnics in Africa. a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Fellow Nigerian Institution of Technological Engineeers, he was a member of the Governing Board of the National Board for Technical Education and the Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre, Magodo. he was a delegate and member, UNESCO Assisted Reforms of the Nigerian Science, Technology and Innovation Systems.
Until recently, he was the Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Technical And Vocational Education Board [LASTVEB]. he led on the development of partnerships with professional bodies, Private Sector stakeholders and development partners focused on improving and raising the standards of vocational education in Lagos State.
Alan Davies: Alan Davies is a seasoned Architect and expert. He studied at Leicester Polytechnic in the United Kingdom and received his ‘Diploma in Architecture’ in 1974. He went on to study at Liverpool University and achieved a ‘Masters of Civic design’ in 1979 also in the United Kingdom. He joined the London Office in 1980 and subsequently moved to the Nigerian Office to work on the Master Plan project for the University of Nigeria Nsukka as a Town Planner. He took up the role of James Cubitt Lagos Director in May 1988. He is responsible for brief development with client and leading the team in overall management of Projects.
Jumoke Adenowo: is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consulting. She founded her own boutique architecture and interior design firm in 1994, AD Consulting, when she was only 26 years old. AD Consulting has been involved in the design and construction of more than 70 projects such as Nigerian government buildings, private residences, healthcare facilities, industrial campuses, and corporate and financial institutions. AD’s clients include the world’s strongest brands like Coca-Cola and L’Oreal. She is an established Author and Speaks regularly at national and international events.
Ibiwunmi Akinnola: Mrs. Akinnola is an accomplished professional and fiercely patriotic educator and lead consultant with over 20 years of cognate experience in early years, primary and secondary education. She established Child Centre, a vibrant preschool and after-school centre that supports the early development of children. Child Centre was awarded the PEEL Award. With a vast wealth of knowledge, resources, expertise and care in developing good practice in administrative and executive business functions, enterprise development and having carved out a niche as an executive administrator, Mrs. Akinnola served as the Interim Administrative Coordinator for Yale-Harvard Leadership Enterprise for African Development in 2011.
Tayo Babalakin: Mr. Tayo Babalakin is one of the founding partners of Klif Consultants, an architectural partnership providing architectural, building consultancy and Project Management services, Landscape and Interior design solutions for various categories of clients. He has over 20 years of significant experience in Hospitality, Institutional, Educational and Residential projects. Mr. Babalakin holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Architecture both from Ahmadu Bello University Zaira, Nigeria and Graduate Diploma in Energy studies from the Architectural Association School, London. He is currently the Secretary of Association of Consulting Architects of Nigeria (ACAN)
